Birgit's Feet

Birgit is a 24 years old international student from Austria doing some study time in Australia. Tropical Australia is a big change from her native country.
And she was the first person we photographed for this project.

She want you to know that: "This is just my feet, after all."
She is pretty relax about her feet.

And why not?

As she said:"This is just my feet, after all."

Will's Feet.

Will is a 40 years old successful professional from Australia.
He has travelled the world before coming back to settle down and start his own family in his original hometown.

He wants you to know: "I always thought that my webbed toes were the 'norm' in the way that feet should look. 'Ordinary' long toes always seem strange to me".
Relaxing on a public bench.

Getting a bit of sun on these little toes.

To get a nice and healthy tan.

Nathalie's Feet.

Nathalie is a 25 years old French woman.

A few days before we made the photos her feet were attacked by a swarm of bitting midges. She had been told not to scratch the bites, but couldn't help it.
Look at her poor feet now, they really need some tender care.

She want you to know that: "I hate my feet, thank you Mum!"
Have a look.

Can you see the wounds?

In need of attention.

Annelies's Feet.

Annelies is a 25 years old backpacker from Belgium going through Australia.

She got her feet well sun-tan, with the tan lines of her sandals to prove it.
I am sure that all her friends from home will be so jealous of her when she will be back.

She want you to know: "That her feet are made for walking and that's what they'll do!"
Look at the tan lines.

Are you ready for a walk?

Let's go then!
